The Services provide users with anonymous, informational tools to estimate the affordability of home and car purchases based on user-provided financial data. Calculations are performed locally in your browser. By default, we do not collect, store, or transmit the financial inputs you provide.
If you affirmatively opt in by checking the "Save my data" box on a calculator's report screen, an anonymized snapshot of your results — your state, price range, ratios, and grade, never your name or email — is transmitted to and stored on our servers to power the public Data Hub; this is optional, off by default, and separate from running the calculator itself. If you use the "Email this report" option, the email address you provide is used solely to deliver that one report and is not otherwise stored. THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SERVICES IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE FINANCIAL, LEGAL, TAX, OR INVESTMENT ADVICE.
